Question 1

How does the campaign work?

Accepted Answer

You submit your Spotify track and choose a campaign level. We review the sound, match it to relevant genres and share it with independent curators in our network who decide whether it fits their playlists.

Question 2

Is SebastianLoveInc affiliated with Spotify?

Accepted Answer

No. SebastianLoveInc is an independent promotion service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Spotify. Spotify references on this site are descriptive and link to official Spotify resources.

Question 3

Is this the same as Spotify editorial pitching?

Accepted Answer

No. Pitching upcoming unreleased music to Spotify's editors is free inside Spotify for Artists and should be done at least seven days before release. That is separate from our independent curator promotion, and you can do both.

Question 4

Is a playlist placement promised?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If we cannot secure at least one eligible playlist placement for the submitted track during the paid campaign window, the campaign fee is eligible for a full refund. An eligible placement is a real, publicly accessible Spotify user playlist placement that we verify and store on your campaign — not editorial, Discover Weekly, Release Radar or any algorithmic placement. Streams, listeners, saves, followers and algorithmic reach are never guaranteed.

Question 5

How does the placement or refund promise work?

Accepted Answer

After your campaign window ends, open the campaign in your Growth Dashboard. If no verified eligible placement is stored, you can request a guarantee review there. A person checks the campaign record and the exclusions, then replies with a decision. Approved refunds are issued by Stripe to your original payment method. Full details, including every exclusion, are on our Refund Policy page.

Question 6

Are listeners real?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Everything comes from real people discovering your track through playlists. We do not use bots or artificial streaming.

Question 7

What should I watch in Spotify for Artists?

Accepted Answer

Streams, listeners, saves, followers, playlist activity, Source of Streams and your top countries and cities. Together they show whether the campaign is reaching people who keep listening.

Question 8

When does Spotify count a stream?

Accepted Answer

According to Spotify, a song stream is counted when a listener plays the song for at least 30 seconds.

Question 9

Why can Source of Streams listener totals overlap?

Accepted Answer

Because one listener can reach your track through several sources. Spotify notes that listener subtotals across sources can add up to more than your total listeners.

Question 10

Which time zone does Spotify for Artists use?

Accepted Answer

Spotify for Artists records stats in UTC, so daily figures may not align with your local day.

Question 11

How are genres matched?

Accepted Answer

We listen to the track and map it to the genres, moods and tempos it genuinely belongs in, then approach curators active in those areas.

Question 12

How long does a campaign run?

Accepted Answer

Depending on the level you choose, campaigns typically run between four and eight weeks. Activity usually builds gradually rather than all at once.

Question 13

Can my track be rejected?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If we cannot find a suitable match, we will contact you before the campaign moves forward and explain the available options.

Question 14

How do I pay for a campaign?

Accepted Answer

After you load your Spotify track and choose a level, you continue to a secure checkout handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details, and your campaign details are confirmed by email after payment.

Question 15

Can I request playlist removal?

Accepted Answer

At any time. Contact us and we will request removal from the playlists we reached out to on your behalf.

Question 16

Do you work with labels and artists worldwide?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We work with independent artists, managers and labels internationally across a wide range of genres.
