What good artist promotion actually looks like
Promotion is not a machine that converts money into streams. Done properly, it is a way of putting finished music in front of people who plausibly want to hear it, repeatedly enough that some of them remember you.

Reach the right listeners
Targeting by genre and mood is not a small detail — it is the whole point. A smaller, well-matched audience produces better listening behaviour than a large, indifferent one, and it gives you data you can actually interpret.
Support each release, not just the catalogue
Each release deserves its own plan: what it is, who it is for, where it will be shown, and what you will look at afterwards. Promotion attached to a specific track is measurable. Promotion attached to nothing in particular is not.
Build long-term visibility
Visibility compounds slowly. Consistent releases, an up-to-date profile and repeated exposure over weeks tend to outperform a single burst. Campaigns of four to eight weeks exist for that reason — activity builds gradually rather than all at once.
Playlist promotion is one channel
Independent playlist promotion sits inside a wider release plan alongside your own audience, your socials, and Spotify's own free tools. Treating it as the only lever puts too much weight on decisions other people make.
Warning signs of fake promotion
If you see any of the following, ask hard questions before paying:
- Guaranteed streams, guaranteed placements or guaranteed chart positions.
- Bot traffic, or reach that appears within hours of purchase.
- Playlists that cannot be named or shown after the campaign.
- Claims of an official partnership with Spotify.
- Screenshots of results presented without any way to verify them.
Takeaway
Good promotion is specific, matched, time-bound and honest about what it cannot control. Anything promising certainty is describing something other than real listeners.
Promote your next track
Paste your Spotify link, choose genre and mood, and pick a campaign level. Independent curators decide for themselves. If we cannot secure at least one eligible playlist placement during your paid campaign window, the campaign fee is eligible for a full refund.
